line feedsearch for term: The set of conductors, and the potential on those conductors, coming to a device such as a receptacle or a switch from the overcurrent protection device for that circuit. In simpler words, it is the wires that feed from the circuit breaker or fuse in the main electrical panel to the device mounting boxes, and the current that those wires can carry.
