carbon monoxidesearch for term

A colorless gas or liquid that has practically no odor. It burns with a violet flame. Carbon monoxide is classed as an inorganic compound.

circuit breakersearch for term

A safety device which opens (breaks) an electric circuit automatically when it becomes overloaded. It can also be used to manually open or close (de-energize or energize) the circuit.

crawl spacesearch for term

A shallow, unfinished space beneath the first floor of a house which has no basement, used for visual inspection and access to pipes and ducts. Also, a shallow space in the attic, immediately under the roof.
